HOSEHEAD DEBUTS NEW NATIONAL DIRT LATE MODEL WEBSITE

Drums, PA --- What started out as an experiment during the first couple days of the dirt Late Model portion of the ‘27^th Annual East Bay Winternationals’ has become a full blown reality. Allan Holland, the man behind the enormously successful HOSEHEAD’S SPRINT CAR NEWS & PHOTOS website, known internationally, has launched an all new website devoted to dirt Late Model racing. Holland posted race results from the first couple nights on his “experimental” website and the response was so positive and immediate that a new news-oriented website was born, HOSEHEAD’S NATIONAL DIRT LATE MODEL NEWS located at: http://hoseheads.com/dirtlatemodel.html.

          Holland, a former recipient of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Media Member of the Year Award, saw a need for such a comprehensive after discovering that most dirt Late Model websites don’t carry race results and news releases from all over the country. With so many specializing, Holland thought there would be a niche for a comprehensive website that would gather news and results from all across the country into one place.

          “I saw a need for a website that gathered dirt Late Model information from all over the country,” explained Holland, of Drums, PA, who has enlisted the help of dirt Late Model motorsports journalist Doc Lehman, a former promoter and sanction official who is on the Executive Board of the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame. “The website will consist of photos, columns, race results and press releases from dirt late model racing all across the country.”

Holland and Lehman are currently contacting racetracks, sanctioning bodies, race teams and manufacturers in reference to sending their news releases in and are contacting various individuals to contribute other material, such as columns and photos.

“I'm still working on that but Doc Lehman will be one of the best plus I talked to a few photographers while I was at East Bay,” commented Holland. “That will take a little time to build. As for the goals of the website, it’s to create one of the best National Dirt Late Model websites on the internet. I've received more response than I ever imagined. Everyone seems to like the whole idea.”

Visitors to the new website, which will be frequently updated, will find race results, press releases, columns, photos, 2003 schedules and much, much more. Two new columns have already been posted by Doc Lehman and Jarrod Lehman with more on the way from other contributors. In addition to the latest news and results, visitors to the website will find all-new interviews with such personalities as Donnie Moran, Chub Frank, Xtreme Dirt Car Series’ Doug Bland, Rick Aukland, Tim McCreadie, Dave Wirt and ‘Boom’ Briggs.
